  • On the one hand, members of the police and security forces who commit the crime of torture are accountable under the law and liable to various disciplinary measures; their cases are heard by a Board of Discipline as prescribed by article 99 of the Police Forces Act.     فالقوانين النافذة قد ضمنت اتخاذ إجراءات حازمة ضد مرتكبي جرائم التعذيب، فمن جهة إن مرتكب جريمة التعذيب من رجال الضبط القضائي يتعرض للمساءلة القانونية إدارياً وتوقع ضده عدد من الإجراءات التأديبية عن طريق مجلس تأديبي يتولى محاكمته بموجب المادة 99 من قانون هيئة الشرطة، وتتضمن أيضاً المادة 101 من القانون بأن يصدر الوزير قراراً بالإحالة إلى المحاكمة التأديبية متضمناً بياناً بالتهم المنسوبة إلى مرتكب جريمة التعذيب وذلك مع حفظ حقوق الدفاع لـه.
